Reason for Opening:
This is a newly created position. It will provide legal support to OMG’s Annalect operating unit.
Department Size:
The OMG Legal Department consists of five lawyers (three in NY and two in the UK). This will be an additional position.

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree
- Strong academic background
- Solid law firm training
- 3-5 years of general corporate experience
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
- Superior analytical and problem solving ability
- Must be a strategic, big picture thinker who understands, appreciates and can appropriately balance legal and business objectives
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Roll-up-your-sleeves personality
- Willingness to travel
Summary:
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of general corporate experience including commercial activity, including client contracts, procurement contracts, etc. This person be conversant in intellectual property and have more generalist responsibilities which will include licensing and intellectual property. A background in media is helpful, but not required. A background in digital media is particularly helpful.
