Description

Zillow is looking for a part-time legal intern to support a project in our Seattle office exploring public access to government records.

Duties will include researching state open records laws and related case law to understand how these laws are applied at the state and county levels. Strong legal research skills are essential, as well as an ability to compellingly communicate findings to Zillow’s legal team and various local government officials.

This position is only open to current law students who have completed at least one year, with an interest in freedom of information law and open government, and the desire to experience working in-house at a fast-paced, data-driven tech company. We are looking for someone who can start within the next month and may be willing to continue 5-10 hours per week during the fall and possibly winter.

Please attach your resume, cover letter, and a writing sample to be considered for this role.
