Description
Technology transactions associate with three to five years direct experience for our growing technology transactions practice. The successful candidate for this position will become part of the M&A team within the technology transactions practice and the associate should expect to spend 70%-80% of their time working on M&A transactions for our serial acquirer clients as well as on sell-side transactions. The balance of the associate’s time would be spent on licensing and other commercial transactions handled by this group. The firm handles complex, innovative M&A and technology transactions for some of the most prominent technology, entertainment and life sciences companies in the United States. Our technology transactions group also works closely with our corporate group, which is consistently ranked as one of the top IPO and M&A practices in the United States. We are particularly interested in those lawyers who have strong IP and technology transactions backgrounds and are enthusiastic about the M&A practice.
The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background, experience in licensing and experience in the IP-related aspects of M&A. Life sciences, electrical engineering, or computer science background would be useful, but not essential. CA bar membership preferred. Superior academic credentials, excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills required.
