Olive & Olive, P.A., established in 1957, have an immediate need for an experienced intellectual property litigation attorney to join our growing practice.

We represent clients at all stages of disputes including, but not limited to, pre-litigation analysis, negotiations and mediation, and litigation, including representation before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Candidate should have substantial experience with conducting discovery, drafting motions and briefs, and conducting depositions, and be knowledgeable of USPTO and federal court practices and procedures.

Experience should include a background in patent, trademark or copyright litigation, preferably all.

Applicant should be registered to practice before the USPTO and admitted to practice in North Carolina.

We seek a candidate who possesses a high level of initiative and motivation, excellent research and writing skills and strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.

This position requires strong academic credentials, in-field experience and a desire and capacity to help grow our firm.

Our firm’s attorneys contribute in a variety of activities that support our community and the public interest. Olive & Olive have a commitment to providing pro-bono services that will assist this support.

Preference will be given to those with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
