BuzzFeed is seeking an Intern to work with our Business Affairs and Legal team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a dynamic startup environment, will bring energy and passion to everything they do, and will not be afraid to roll up his/her sleeves to tackle projects both big and small.
This internship is a full-time, paid opportunity running from June 8, 2015 - August 14, 2015. The program will run in our NYC headquarters and will include a super collaborative work environment, learning and professional development opportunities, lunch and learns, fun outings and overflowing perks!
Responsibilities:
-- Assist in legal research and writing
-- Analyze contracts
-- Work on publication review and intellectual property analysis
-- Aid in public records and access litigation
Requirements:
-- Rising 3L Student preferred
-- Must be a self-starter
-- Passion for the digital and social space
-- Interest in First Amendment, intellectual property, and general media law issues
-- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations
-- Strong written and verbal communication skills
-- No haters
