Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Legal Department to assist with the day-to-day workflow of agreements and contracts.
• Practice areas may include sponsorship, licensing, intellectual property, brand enforcement, securities and corporate governance, human resources and real estate.
• Duties include, but are not limited to review and analysis of client contracts, non-disclosure agreements, cease and desist letters, securities reporting and compliance and corporate governance and insider trading compliance.

 

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled as a second year law student. Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Highly organized and able to prioritize work to efficiently handle multiple tasks.

 

MSLO offers internships for college students in a variety of fields. Internships expose students to all facets of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, and allow them to experience work in an innovative, progressive, and fast-paced professional environment. The Internship Program is designed for college level students to have the opportunity to work in one of the company's business segments: Publishing, Merchandising, Broadcast, Internet or Corporate.

 
MSLO’s Spring Internship Program will start in mid-January and last for approximately 10 weeks. All internships are held in our New York City office. It is a part-time unpaid internship with a 16-20 hour/ week commitment. In order to be eligible for an internship, students must be able to receive academic credit.

 

Qualified Candidates: 
-- Currently enrolled as a second year law student and must receive school credit for their internship at MSLO.
-- Interns will be responsible for their own travel, housing, food and personal expenses.
