The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a first year law student Legal Intern for our Law Department.
Essential Job Functions:
The TWC Corporate Internship Program is designed to offer a first year law student the opportunity to work with us full-time during the summer (May-August).
The student would learn how our premier communications company operates while gaining invaluable legal experience. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Job Functions:
Assist lawyers in various day-to-day projects that arise throughout the course of the internship. Our interns generally gain experience dealing with a range of legal issues and learn about our company and the services we provide.
Responsibilities:
Assist lawyers and other professionals with projects as needed in a variety of legal areas including: programming deals and projectsregulatory including FCC, state and local franchise matterslitigation including marketing and compliance employment including labor relations and litigationintellectual property including patents and trademarkscorporate including M&A, transactions and securities
Required Skills:
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Well organized and detail oriented with ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in team setting.

Education and Experience:
- Top-tier academic background
- Must be currently enrolled in a law school Juris Doctor degree program completing the first year Spring semester to be eligible.
