Description
The CBS Network law department is seeking one law student summer intern this year in a program focused on furthering the student intern’s legal education. The intern will have the opportunity to learn about the dynamic television industry from the network sides, and from both a broadcast and digital media perspective. The intention is for the intern to be exposed to and learn about issues that an in-house attorney would encounter on a daily basis, such as drafting contracts and releases, legal research and writing, production legal matters on scripted and non-scripted programming, news clearance, understanding entertainment guild issues, analyzing various rights issues related to television content and interfacing with clients from across a range of CBS departments.
Qualifications:
*Required Qualifications
- -- Must be able to obtain law school credit
- -- 8 to 10 week, full time commitment preferred
- -- Top one-third of class
- -- Strong interest in media and entertainment
