Litigation and Product Counsel

Pinterest is growing fast but its legal team is small and scrappy. We're looking for a fourth lawyer to grow our internal litigation capacity, build the processes that support it, and manage all aspects of our trademarks and brands. You’ll also provide counsel to our engineering and product teams to help them navigate the full array of issues they face as they break new ground in online discovery and probably take on a whole bunch of other things as needed that may be way outside your areas of expertise.

Responsibilities:

• -- Manage litigation, regulatory disputes, and other contentious things with an emphasis on creating internal processes for scalability and cost control.
• -- Oversee prosecution and management of our worldwide trademark portfolio and brand protection strategies.
• -- Embed yourself with engineering and product management teams to help them identify, understand and manage legal risks during all stages of product development.
• -- Devote yourself to helping us build a world-changing product that will one day inspire a billion people.

Requirements:

• -- Law degree from a top school
• -- Minimum 3-6 years experience working in a demanding and innovative legal environment (in-house experience preferred)
• -- Strong litigation and intellectual property experience
• -- Internet / technology background
• -- Eagerness to learn
