Legal Intern Learning Expectations

Learn what it’s like to be an in-house lawyer at a face-paced, multimedia worldwide entertainment company

 

Responsibilities:

-- Work directly with intellectual property attorney responsible for the WWE trademark portfolio worldwide
-- Help file trademark and copyright applications worldwide
-- Be a part of WWE’s intellectual property enforcement team (anti-counterfeiting, online piracy, etc.)
-- Help takedown online piracy; help remove e-bay auctions for counterfeit product
-- Conduct research memoranda on IP-related issues of law (fair use, rights of publicity, etc.)

 

Qualifications:

-- Intern should be a student during the 2015 Spring Semester
-- Student must be able to provide proof of school credit eligibility (unofficial transcript, course catalog page, note from --faculty advisor or career center staff) Please attach to application before completing
-- Candidate must be able to work in Stamford, CT
-- Must be able to conduct thorough and independent legal research on a variety of topics
