Harvard Business School (HBS) is now accepting applicants for the role of Director, Digital Initiative, Harvard Business School.  The Digital Initiative has the twin goals of catalyzing cutting edge research and scholarship on the impact of digital transformation on economic activity and to help leaders and entrepreneurs shape how digital technology, communities, and media are changing consumer behavior, transforming business and influencing society.
Working with the core HBS faculty, the Director of the Digital Initiative (DI) will help establish the overall DI strategy and program portfolio.   The Director will be responsible for creating a unified platform to shape the future of businesses directly engaged in digital efforts or digital media through a series of education and research projects.   The Director serves as a resource to a wide constituency including HBS faculty, staff and students; Harvard faculty and programs; leaders in business; academics; alumni; and other interested parties. The director must be able to effectively represent HBS in discussions with academics, entrepreneurs, senior business leaders and thought leaders in the digital space.
