On March 9, the UNC Media Law Society is hosting a panel discussion focused on careers in media law. The event will take place at noon in the Rumpus Room at the UNC School of Law.  Some of the leading media law practitioners from around the Triangle will discuss their work in media law and the twists and turns that led them into the field. We hope that students will gain a better understanding of what media law looks like in practice. The panelists include:

• David Ardia, co-director UNC Center for Media Law and Policy (moderator)
• Jennifer Venable, vice-president and general counsel at Capitol Broadcasting Company
• Tim Nelson, associate at Brooks Pierce and former WTVD reporter
• Canon Pence, general counsel at Epic Games

Food will be provided!
