On April 11, the UNC Media Law Society will host a panel discussion on Dominion Voting Systems’ $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox News over false 2020 election fraud claims. Come hear Carolina Law’s media law faculty talk about this important case. How does America balance freedom of speech and the press against the dangers of falsehoods and conspiracies, especially when it comes to the foundation of our democracy?
