The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit educational foundation. Since 1999, FIRE has effectively and decisively defended the civil liberties of thousands of students and faculty on our nation’s campuses.

Legal interns will work remotely to provide flexible help in the spring to work on student press issues. Interns will need to be available from 9-5, one day a week. Work and assignments will be concerning a prepublication review guide for student journalists.

Anyone with some journalism background/training would be especially welcome.
