Description

I am truly devastated to have report that my treasured colleague Greg Beck is leaving Public Citizen to join a new plaintiffs-oriented appellate boutique that former colleague Deepak Gupta has left the CFPB to found.  Greg worked here as a summer student in 2003, created an Equal Justice Work fellowship at the Litigation  Group to specialize in Internet-related and IP litigation, and transitioned into a permanent slot two years later.  I  (and my other Litigation Group colleagues) will miss him.

At the same time, we are looking to hire his replacement.  Not specifically a tech law position by any means, but for a lawyer with atechnical background looking to develop a generalist public interest practice in an intensely collegial environment, I cannot recommend more highly a career at Public Citizen.  Our very active Supreme Court practice means that lawyers here regularly work on Supreme Court cases and, indeed, you are likely to have the chance to argue your first Supreme Court case within a few years of starting here.
