The Legal Intern will provide services for approximately 8 weeks during his/her summer break from law school for 20-25 hours a week. We are a small but growing in-house legal team. We have a wide variety of learning experiences to offer a student who is interested in an in-house corporate law career. We would prefer someone coming out of their second year of law school with an interest in the retail and fashion industry, but are open to working with someone of any law school class-year level. The Legal Intern will receive training and will be assigned specific projects related to general corporate law and business compliance activities.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Report directly to Corporate Counsel; compile summaries/inventories of current third party agreements and other various business documents; FTC/FDA compliance and claims substantiation review and projects; jewelry design copyright infringement matters; third party agreement intellectual property matters, general organization of electronic document management system and support for in-house legal department.
Salary: $15.00 /hour
