Description

• Patent Prosecution including drafting/revising claims; responding to office actions and strategy decisions
• Litigation Support, including legal research
• Product Clearance and IP Due Diligence work, including product and patent analysis for acquisition or licensing targets
• IP Agreement work including negotiating and drafting IP license agreements, development agreements and consulting agreements

Qualifications

• Current, full-time or part-time law school student pursing a juris doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school and looking to specialize in intellectual property law (specifically, patent law)
• Prefer first year students, but will consider 2Ls on a case-by-case basis
• Eligible to sit for the patent bar exam (prefer degrees in mechanical or electrical engineering, physics or biotechnology);
• Top 25% or 3.2 GPA preferred
• Must be available to work at least 40 hours a week Monday-Friday
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
